The basic ideas in there are great. However, the site has some serious rookie mistakes in it's design. Chief among them is the site wont render at all without cookies enabled. Their privacy policy has this section: "You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. However, if you choose to decline cookies from the Zooniverse then functionality, including your ability to log-in and participate, will be impaired." Clearly whoever wrote that never tried the site without cookies. Also, I just noticed that it appears to have mixed-grade encryption. They have been contacted and no response was given. Put it all together and this noble cause is not fit for recommendation based on these observations.

What this site is trying to achieve is laudable, but the people behind it wilfully gave away all their users' contact details after their terms stated they would not do this. Sorry, but that kind of behaviour does not engender trust, and I advocate staying well away.
