WOT World Map in May Inside MyWOT newsletter

Worldmap sliceWOT users are spread around the globe and in this month's Inside MyWOT newsletter, we have made a nifty map showing you the general distribution. You can probably guess where most of our users live, but you may be surprised to learn which other countries WOT is in. It proves that Internet security is an issue that means something to all of us, no matter what language we use or where we are geographically.

School is almost out for another year and kids will be hanging around the house looking for something to do. Modern kids don't climb trees and start neighborhood pick-up games of kickball, do they? (I'm showing my age...) Modern kids head indoors where they sit for hours chatting online with their friends or playing MMOGs. Noted syndicated columnist, author and family health educator Jodie Lynn, speaks to WOT newsletter subscribers about keeping children safe online. She provides some good age-related guidelines that may help you set some surfing limits this summer.

    WOT Worldwide

I likeded the breakdown of users world wide, but I think that they would be
more meaningful if they were also expressed as percentage of the
    population.

For example you have India as No 8 with 91,000 users and Australia No 10
with 77,000 users, but if these were expresses and percentage per
population the rating would definitely be reversed.

Comparing populations of a billion (or whatever) against 21,000,000 is a little unfair and misleading.

I am sure that there are many countries that would surprise us all if this
realistic method of rating were adopted.

      Good point dude!
I agree that it would be a better way to show what the real percentage of population is actually using wot in each country.

If you already could even start using the words "percentage of population" - wow. Unfortunately we're not that far yet. :-)

        At least in most countries...

      Second that motion

A per capita break down would also be nice. However, this is cool none the less.

Difficult when running more than one computer.

Why all thoose problems when register the application on more than one computer? You then need to use different username and email. I belive, a lot of users today, use two or more computer at the same time. When my communication-center is fully equipt with computer and radios, I sometimes operates up to six computers, where a browser may be active on four or five of them. I know a lot of users of computers today, who runs two or three of them 24 hours a day. -Well. Just an idea of how to decrease waste of space on the mastercomputer, witch hold the database for all users, as well as decreasing confusing at the home of all endusers, who runs more than one computer. :-)
Beside this missing option, the idea and application is a good thing, when alone out there, at the big bad World..
