Firefox CollectionsLast week's launch of Firefox 3.5 has been highly successful, and to help Mozilla celebrate, we have created the Surf Safer and Smarter by WOT collection on their new add-on collections. A collection is a group of related add-ons that anyone can create to share with others.

Please subscribe to our collection, and if you have any suggestions of great add-ons that help make browsing, searching and shopping on the Internet safer and smarter, please let us know and we'll add them to the collection. So far we've included:

Add-ons may not be compatible with your system, so please check the details first. Firefox 3.5 is a free download for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Seems like NoScript has really lost its face...

Actually, it all depends on

Actually, it all depends on a person's point of view.

I can't believe anyone would

I can't believe anyone would make such a list, without including the NoScript add-on. Yeah, I know all about what happened ... the guy was hoping to generate some extra income, trying to un-block ads being blocked on his own sites by AdBlock Plus. Bad decision? Yes. Unethical behavior? No doubt. Yet it's not quite in the same category as ... say, installing spyware on your computer for collecting credit card information.

The fact remains, that NoScript is still just as important to have today, as it was in the days prior to when this whole sordid affair began. If I had but only a single choice for my entire add-on collection, NoScript would surely be the one. Nobody has yet developed anything else that does its job as well.

I agree. In my opinion, the only problem with NoScript is that it's too hard for normal people to use and they'll just end up just disabling it when websites suddenly stop working after some of the scripts are blocked. Or at least that's my experience.
