The WOT homepage has a new look

The Web of Trust add-on has members from every country on Earth. Depending on who you ask, that's about 195 countries! So to reflect our truly global community we have changed the look and layout of the WOT homepage.
The globe theme and fresh layout was designed by the creative minds at Zipipop, the cool, young design team behind the "Going for One" Facebook application.
One of our favorite parts is our new map in the WOT in numbers section. This map shows the requests coming to the WOT servers from each continent for the past hour. In this example, 59% of the requests are originating from Europe. Looks like most of North America is still asleep.
Along with our new homepage look comes a change in the name of the company that supports WOT. Against Intuition Inc. has been changed to WOT Services Ltd. to better reflect our brand. Maybe the name WOT Services Ltd. will provoke less puzzled looks and head scratching than our previous name.
We hope you like the fresh new look. Please give us any feedback or ideas on how WOT can continue to improve. We always like to hear from you.
New layout
Apparently the new layout deserves to be complimented.

Preferred the name of © WOT Services patent pending also.
Also like the tooltip pop-up for the "Learn about Internet threats" section.
Somehow the "endless pages" of Smarterfox screwed up WOT main page a bit...
So will the layout of the other pages of WOT change along too?

One more point
I have noticed that the source code:
It seems that all of them are pictures..inclusive of the 5 small rounded button.
I hope that that could be replaced by an interactive icons instead.
Meaning we can navigate it instead of just being only a automatically slide.

I like the global feel the thing gives to the site, as opposed to the "mothers against so and so" feel the site used to project earlier. Much more suitable for a site that is bringing a vital service to the Internets many, many dark corners.
Looked like a music festival to me
The old design was good for a time, but we feel that WOT has matured as a community and the design should reflect that. WOT users have become more focused over time, and the goal of making the Web safer for everyone is taken seriously by most users.
It's still fun to be part of this group, but our community is battling against real cybercrime, scams and sites with questionable ethics. When the light is shining in those "dark corners," we can have a party again.

I like the new "global look" of the frontpage; it also has more 'depth' than the previous design. Global real time stats are also a neat addition...!
PS: The new name is also better. I never could guess why WOT was 'against intuition'. What was the original idea behind that name..?

Well, the founders should answer this, but I think it had to do with the fact that your intuition wasn't anymore enough to judge if a certain website is safe or not. WOT is our brand and the new name supports it.
