Le site infidels.org est-il sûr ?

Internet Infidels is the best venue I know of for sharing information on current events, not just religious matters. The site is apparently visited by many bright young people with a wide range of life experiences, political views and personal beliefs.

As a skeptic and agnostic-atheist, at first this site was very convincing and sounded legit. All until I questioned where they got their sources and facts from. On some of the articles I read they listed their own site as a source. I don't think that's not how you cite papers. And I've found there to be misrepresentation of the facts that they used. There are many truths to this site, but it's not 100% correct. A lot of it is just speculation, alternate opinion based explanations, and badgering of religion. This site contradicts what other sites say so it's hard to believe either site unless they have solid facts. It does not appear to be neutral with unbiased arguments. Anyone can deny the existence of anything and anyone. It's not hard. To anyone trying to disprove religion this site will be helpful, but if you're just trying to find an unbiased opinion and solid facts instead of opinionated biased badgering, I think Wikipedia is more reliable as a neutral source of information. The only word I'll believe is direct statements from well known and credited scientists, not pseudo-scientists. It doesn't matter if it's religious or anti-religious. So in conclusion, while there may be many truths, don't believe everything you read on the internet. Including this site.

After reading their article "Is the Bible the Word of God?" it is very apparent that they do not understand figurative language and discard the numerous portions of Scripture that clearly contradict everything they say. It sadly misrepresents the Bible, and does not consider all the evidence for the Bible (e.g. The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel).
