No investigations have found malware associated with this toolbar that I can find. However, it does demonstrate these characteristics: homepage hijacking, and can redirect searches from other toolbars to it's own. Whether this redirection is intentional or just a glitch from badly written software remains to be determined. Either way, a reputable company would make the homepage reset optional, and the option very clear - this toolbar doesn't. Also, it will not register itself with the operating system, and give a link in add/remove programs to remove it. removal can be problematic because of this.

You will probably come across two or more similar files that pretend to uninstall it, don't give up it's there and can be uninstalled.
