The service used by Google to display news on certain searches. It gives you that news from news companies that are reporting on your region/country. Like all Google sites it does track you, however.

This site is a news aggregator - it collects news items from news organisations across the world. You can set it up so that your most trusted / favourite news sites are more prominently displayed. You can give lesser prominence to news organisations you have lesser regard for. You can exclude news sites you don't trust. You can set it up so that news topics you're most interested in (eg: politics, business, general news, are given a higher priority than topics you're less interested in (eg: pop culture, entertainment industry, celebrities, sport). The news sources available are both domestic and international. The news topics available seem limitless.

Just like everything else Google it's great. I really love my customizable news page.
