Updating a review entry I did 10 years ago. I am not sure if it is just me, but currently (090121), the only gripe I have about Google News site is that during the weeks of the Afghanistan withdrawal/departure mission, the U.S. news feed label featured a highly significant coverage on the Afghan withdrawal/departure/rescue mission, and to a lesser extent the Covid-19 vaccination and delta variant spike news, and then pretty much negligible on everything else. I had to source my U.S. news on various other relevant topics from other mainstream sources. Then, when I clicked on the World news feed label, approximately 1/5th of the news were news topics that already had very significant coverage under the U.S. news feed label. and those news didn't tell me anything new as what were newsworthy were already featured very significantly under the U.S. news feed label related with the Afghanistan withdrawal/departure/rescue mission.
