Calm down, calm down, calm down. I have the true explanation for all this mess. IAC isn't a bad company. MindSpark (funwebproducts creator) isn't either. People are just too lazy to click the checkbox to turn the "Make MyWebSearch my homepage" off. MindSpark's products are not harmful in any way, just people and antiviruses just overreact. Nothing is bad about Mindspark and/or IAC. Case closed.

There's no excuse for these kinds of business practices. Whether you built or acquired brands associated with evil is irrelevant. The fact that you were either dumb enough to purchase such terrible names or evil enough to create them makes you someone I would never want to do business with. You will never have my sympathy. You are guilty by association.

This site is safe, however, MindSpark properties are not (MyWebSearch etc). They own good companies such as 'Garage Games' (Great games! - Marble Blast Ultra for an example), ***** (Safe Search Engine, however, toolbar is questionable), ***** (Good dating site), College Humor (Funny, safe site), etc. They do own quite a lot of bad sites though unfortunately. I'd stay careful when visiting their other sites, but there are some good ones.
