In this case, the message was sent by someone wanting to remove this site. These criminals use botnets to send many fake spam messages, especially to some of the anti-spam activists, only to make these angry spam receivers complain about this site, and so do their dirty work. They are trying to trade on this hatred for spam. They have made it a habit to smear a lot of Russian (and other Eastern European countries) sites, most of which are in fact legitimate and do not send spam you receive.
