This site helped me build my first true gaming PC for a really good price and gives instructions how to build it.
It always get updated monthly and has accurate pricing for parts so it's trustworthy.

most of the information is completely wrong or HORRIDLY outdated "AGP has been the standard for video cards for awhile now, pci-express is new" lol?
ok and by going by how out of date it is, thinks like "the more ram the better" and "gaming computers should have >atleast< a 500w psu" are just both wrong on so many levels. you can power a core i7 and a gtx580 on a 500w psu easy....
