Even though the wiki is biased (to be expected with a title like Conservapedia), don't let your personal opinions get in the way of ratings. This site is perfectly fine, and is useful for some scholarly projects.

This site has been wrongfully and maliciously attacked by a coordinated effort of individuals associated with one or more leftist websites. WOT should consider filters that would adequately categorize and group together ratings and comments from people acting in concert, whether for or against a specific site based on ideological orientation. The WOT ratings system is being unnecessarily co-opted by the mob, and this is is an emerging problem in the WOT ratings system.

I found this site to be very informative and interesting. I guess if you're not a Christian Conservative, you'll dump it and run! But, if you like information that is conservative in nature, more republican by party, and fits in with "middle America," then you'll be pleased with this site! All depends upon how you lean and what you're looking for or expecting. It fits right in with many of us who are looking for the other side of the coin!

This is a reputable conservative web site. WOT has been bombarded by liberal hate mongers who have nothing better to do than try to ruin the reputation of those with whom they disagree. Accepting ratings and hate comments from these people actually harms the integrity of WOT.

The website is not dangerous in any way that I am aware of; no malware, no pop-ups, no links to unsafe websites, no scamming. However, it is heavily biased and presents a lot of inaccurate or untrue information as factual. Although it promotes itself as a "trustworthy" encyclopaedia, factual truth is to them secondary to pushing their own agenda.
My recommendation: check the website for yourselves, as there is no danger to your computer in doing so. But take everything you read with a grain of salt.
