Is conservapedia.com Safe?

This site doesnt deal with facts just what the right wing thinks, its also hateful calling a Vietnam woman a communist just because of her nationality is hateful. This site doesnt deal with facts but opinions, is hateful against peoples nationalities. Also an article in the LA Times confirms that 15-year-old girls who describe themselves as "Conservatives" are the main contributors to the website. One of the girls is quoted as saying that vandalism of Conservapedia has taught her that "There are people who want to destroy us." Yeah 15-year old girls dont know anything

Tons of misinformation, heavily biased, poor citations. I'm all for freedom of speech and a differing of opinions. What I don't like is that this site ignores facts, takes quotes out of context and tries to slander the people surrounding any subjects that aren't conservative instead of addressing the subject itself. The use of ad hominem attacks is not a substitute for objectivity and logic.

This site has way to many biases. First off it's not conservative. It has an American conservative Christian bias. If you are a conservative from another country or practice another faith then this site probably won't represent many of your views. Second and most important the "facts" it presents are often times not supported at all and even if they do have citations often the citations don't apply. Also this is not a "mockepedia" it is unfortunately real.

This site is nothing but bigoted conservatives that hate anything that doesn't think like them. Everything from accusing atheists of Stalin to presenting pseudo-science to back up creationism. Impressionable or intellectual people should stay away, unless you're a conservative, then this is right up your alley.

I want my sources apolitical but this site is distorted in its views and way too conservative. This site is just there to affirm conservative viewpoints. There are no facts but just smears. Sources are narrow and bias too. Not a place to learn something.

The content on this website is completely terrible. 80% of all the content is incredibly biased. For example, search "video games" and read the first two sentences. Anything that is remotely related to opposing thoughts such as being liberal or not-christian is where its at its worst. My favorite example I found is taken from their "Liberal Tricks" page. Apparently saying "Kids are getting smarter than old folks." is a Liberal Trick to fool people. LOLOL Anyway, most pages suffer from tons of non-sequiturs all over the place, wording meant to mislead people, and statements that are just blatantly false. Additionally, if you check the citations you'll find that when they try to present an opposing side, they cite other conservative or christian websites almost every time. A perfect example of the above would be on the page about the Jesus Camp documentary where they say, "Jesus Camp (2006) is a schlockumentary about a Pentecostal summer camp and the children that attend. The documentary contains little to no narration, serving only to reveal the treatment of children in Evangelical Bible camps." Those two sentences completely contradict each other, and its like this all over the place on this website. Really the only thing this website would be good for is if you're looking for a way to kill time and have a few good laughs, while simultaneously losing all faith in humanity.

Highly biased towards anyone that doesn't follow a specific religion, political ideology, or economic philosophy. The only people who would enjoy this site are those already expressing these values. I wouldn't call it racist, as the articles relating to races are stubs that look like copypasta from the first paragraph of a Wikipedia article.

Bias on one point of view. It never considers the other side. While some articles may be useful due to their one-sided nature (although this is rare) the vast majority of the site is based upon shallow thoughts and hate. The authors essentially force their opinion down your throat and say "This is basically what is true", although from a scientific, historical and rational perspective it isn't. For perfect examples please view the articles on "Communism" and "Video Games". The articles on them barely consider whats good, and simply bash the two. As far as I'm concerned I'd recommend staying away from this site simply due to its overall shallow nature. This isn't a trustworthy source at all, as what you obtain are the opinions of people and most certainly not the facts. For the supporters of this site who bash the people who down-rate it, we have opinions too. Whether or not you agree with me is your choice, but at least open your eyes and see how pathetic this display of "conservative" thought is. I am in no way a liberal, or a conservative and I try my best to remain non-bias, but this site shouldn't be considered an encyclopedia. Instead it should probably be considered a congregation of opinions. That is all.

This site should absolutely NOT be blocked!! There is nothing on it that is "Hateful, violent or illegal". It is a conservative site with lots of relative and useful information that the mainstream media does NOT want to get out. There is NO racism or hate. Liberals hate this site because it's a conservative one and they don't want truth to get out about them!!!
