I've been reading the Squib for many years and I have nothing but good things to say about the site. It is v.informative and intuitive news with whacky satire mixed in. They broke quite a few stories way before MSM got hold of even a sniff. As for Jade Goody story it was obvious she was being exploited by Max Clifford her agent who is now a disgraced sex offender. He exploited her cancer and used that for monetary gain and the Squib was quite right to highlight that fact. These attampts to slur a news source I read every day are blatant lies and misinformation.

The Daily Squib is exactly what it states. It is a satirical news website that offers a very funny outlook on current news stories. I have been reading articles on the Squib for many years now, and never found them offensive. I think people should read what is there and not surmise or read between the lines. I too, read the article about Jade Goody and realised the the satirical digs were for Max Clifford, not the lady in question. I personally find the Squib a refreshing antidote to all the mainstream news sites, because it takes the micky out of their pomposity and their "we know best" editorials. Finally, I am an independant person and I have nothing to do with the Squib's production or any other aspect of their articles. I just read It and laugh!! Chas

Hello, In reply to the comment from Joods. We feel this is sadly misconstrued. The articles written about Jade Goody were referring to Max Clifford her PR person at the time who was exploiting her during her illness for money. The writer had lost their own father through cancer and to see Goody's illness made into a media circus was felt to be a disservice to those who die with dignity, and without fanfare. As for the Russian comment, there is no basis in fact in that statement, and anyone can see for themselves, there is no such material on the Daily Squib. The DS is a political satire and news site and we write quality articles pertaining to many global news subjects. We are staunch upholders of the right to free speech whatever the opinion.
