This outfit is a scam. The following is long-winded, but it's what I wrote when I did my "ticket". It's thorough enough to clue anyone in the legal profession in on what kind of scam these people are trying to pull. They're all overseas scammers, but the following should be clear enough to get their website shut down. I wanna be the lead plaintiff in a class-action. Anyone down?: "The unlocking process is being stopped by some $50 fee that was not in the Order Summary page, and that I never agreed to. This fee was not on the Unlock Phone page, either. in fact, the Unlock Phone page only gives the user one option (the field that reads "Unlock for any carrier"). In fact, the eligibility check service that I ordered is intended to unlock my phone because of this. Thats what we both agreed to. If you need proof that I paid for an "eligibility phone check/unlock," just read the Order Summary. It reads, in part, "With our online service you can safely and permanently unlock your device from the comfort of your home." "Unlocking [my] device" involves unlocking the carrier lock that is on the phone, which restores the IMEI to an unlocked condition. The Terms and Conditions makes it clear that unlocking the phone involves restoring the phone to an unlocked condition. Here are the facts that will be brought up during the legal proceeding: 1. the first page the user lands on from his Google search is the Unlock Phone page. 2. The Unlock Phone page gives the user one and only one option if he wishes to proceed with using DirectUnlocks services, and that one option is "Unlock for Any Carrier". 3. Clicking on "Unlock for Any Carrier" brings the user to the Order Summary page; there are no other options or pages the user may be redirected or brought to. 4. The Order Summary page prominently displays the price of the order, which is $28.99. 5. The Order Summary page also contains the verbiage, "With our online service you can safely and permanently unlock your device from the comfort of your home." 6. the Order Summary page also includes the verbiage, "Please ensure your phone asks for an unlocking code when a non-T-Mobile sim card is inserted." 7. Therefore, since the user clicked on a field that reads, "Unlock for Any Carrier," and the page the user is brought to after clicking on that field contains the statements quoted in item number 5 and item number 6 above, and since the order summary prominently displays a final cost of $28.99, we conclude that that $28.99 cost is to pay for a service that provides an unlock of the user's device for all carriers."

Good experience but 2 payments

Good evening, Note that your initial purchase is almost always a pre-order. There are no refunds on "pre-orders" I paid 28 dollars each for two of my phones for their pre-order. and after the third day, I have not seen the screen advance from 10%. I sent an e-mail to them and have not received any feedback. I am now 2 weeks in, and I think I may have lost out on it. Additionally, if your phone is a fully paid off Tracfone like mine were and you have used it with them for a year, Tracfone does unlocks for free as part of a settlement with the FCC. Be careful out there.

This website will mislead you in buying a plan to unlock your phone, then after a few days "they" will inform you for an additional payment. This cycle will continue and ask for more additional payment (which is not disclosed on the webpage that you'll need additional payment during the process) until you get to 100% unlock. Then at the end of your 10 week wait they will inform you that your phone is not eligible for unlock criteria. Now the tricky part is the refund policy. They will refund you with a voucher only for future use of their services and not a credit refund through your credit card. BEWARE 100% SCAM !!!

What they don't tell you is that you need to pay twice (extortion) - first advertised payment, is $19.99. Apparently this is a non-refundable deposit. Then they extort the rest from you. In my case another $35.
