virus total's 64 scan engines say it's ok. ***** i see a couple comments here that are meaningless .. if they don't have proof, give them a thumb's down. a waste to read. a couple are good and offer proof of rating. Quttera says site is clean: https://quttera.com/detailed_report/www.download3k.com i see sucuri site check noticed a blacklist on site. but it could come from google which frequently labels sites bad (they did with a blog of mine). so take it with a grain of salt. the rating does say the site was likely compromised by hackers at some point, which might account for the bad ratings. it is unclear what happened so some caution is prudent. https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www.download3k.com all that said .. the site does have some good information on it. and some useful looking scripts. though, scripts may not be wise to trust given question mark on site.

One of my favorite downloading sites. What I like best is their 'Antivirus information' complete with detailed results and they warn newbies, I would guess, to 'For your own safety, we recommend that you always have an antivirus, with virus definitions up to date, installed on your computer when downloading and installing programs from the web.'
