Is easycgi.com Safe?

run away, if you are concidering using this company for your web hosting. They bought out our old web hosting company that had amazing service and drove the service into the ground from the first moment. I canceled my service after weeks off headaches and battles with there customer 'support' but STILL I receive notices from them that my account is overdue orr inactive a year later. This company does not know how to clean up their own systems so I would never trust them with any secure data.

EasyCGI is, in my opinion, a horrid web hosting company. Even after canceling my account with them, I continued to receive spam. They tried multiple times to charge my credit card even after I had canceled my account, and I was lucky that the only info they had was for an expired card. I would not recommend this host to my enemies. Their "customer service" employees were rude and unhelpful (several either hung up on me or kept me on hold for over an hour), and they poorly handled the transition from Webstrike Solutions, my previous web company whom they bought out. Due to their handling of that transition, I lost at least $1000 in work time and lost customers. I had web clients who will no longer be renewing contracts with me as a direct result of significant (week long +) service outages during the transition period.
