Good site to get items at a lower price than retail, I have been ripped off once buy a first-time seller but it was resolved with Paypal. Don't trust first-time sellers

Mixed bag totally, I rarely use it any more except to search for stuff I might want LOCALLY or get idea on price.
Clothes have been a good bargin there though. Buyer beware on more costly things, tread carefully!
I had two guys sell me fraudulent electronic parts, that's my bad experience there.
Selling stuff wise, a good way of doing it, don't accept buyers with tiny ratings, and you should do OK, as long as you are fair as well.

Great service. I had a problem with a seller and eBay/Paypal resolved it satisfactorily in a timely manner.

E-bay's "Resolution Center" is a joke. You never get an intelligent human being to help you. Nor do they give you an e-mail address to contact them. If you have a problem, and the seller (or buyer) refuses to respond, you are SOL. Just pray you didn't send any money because it is as good as gone.

Ebay's policy of only blocking questionable offers like fallen soldiers' IDs called "dog tags" only in certain countries is ethically questionable. "Dog tags" are legally IDs and there are a lot of offers of thoes items from world war II soldiers who have died on European fields ! Shame on Ebay.

I think it beats amazon by a mile. you can get awesome stuff so cheap. i think it's a safe site.
