Безопасен ли exmormon.org?

The prejudicial tone of this site feeds the despicable stigma that Mormonism is a cult and not a denomination of the Christian religion. I personally feel scientology, et alia, are cults, but I still give them the respect they deserve as human beings, a courtesy the LDS Church seldom receives, due to the ignorance of those who think nothing of accusing members of offering "special" Kool-Aid to anyone they can. And yet these selfsame hypocrites lavish upon Muslims and Wiccans the praises of Catholic saint. Notice I'm careful to capitalize each religion, even though I personally feel they are all sinful. Christ, Buddha and The Wiccan God/dess do all agree on the right of people to free will and beliefs along with the responsibility of people to respect those of others.

I don't agree with the site, nor am I opposed to it. It doesn't promote hate, but simply a site for people who are no longer Mormons. It has no affiliation to any religion, nor promote any religion (though many members may come from various religions).

i strongly suspect that certain members of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (i.e. Mormon Church) have deliberately given this site poor ratings because it contains material that makes their church look bad. Other Mormons I know would no more do such a thing than I would downrate a site that criticized my church. But please be aware that this site is controversial rather than bad or dangerous in any objective sense.

This is just a site for former Mormons. Most of the information presented is accurate, which can be checked in history books as well as written Mormon writings. Quite obviously, the people giving this site a rating have a bone to pick with the fact that this is not a nice, whitewashed mormon site.
