According to Ghostery (www.ghostery.com): Fetchback operates: Fetchback, Fetchback Notice Fetchback hosts a patent pending ad server called 'FIDO' focused on retargeting e-commerce consumers on behalf of clients informed by users' previous shopping behavior. Analytics, and market research support is also provided on their technology platform. Website: http://www.fetchback.com/index.html Note the ""...focused on retargeting e-commerce consumers on behalf of clients..." portion. So for those of us who don't like tracking software and ads popping up: 1) Their trackers and privacy 'invasion' can be blocked by Ghostery or other good blockers (such as Adblock Plus and NoScript), and 2) their site is of no value.

Yes there are privacy concerns but it is helpful information and pertinent - and they don't sell your information. They do share it with their clients so I don't know if I like that too much and how much information they gather.

It appears FetchBack is a legitimate marketing company, and seems to be on target with the retargeting advertising they offer to their customers, good job!
