This site promotes a clever mix of food recipes and pseudoscience, thus making the medical misinformation therein more appealing and marketable.
She may not have a Ph.D. but she gets it right when it comes to eating healthily. I see some critics posting "scientific" articles by the likes of McGill. Yeah, the cat telling the mice when it is safe to come out and play. I'll trust foodbabe.com before McGill and the like, who have a vested monetary interest in marginalizing the advice given to help eat healthily and safely.
Food Babe is honest, trustworthy and has devoted her life to helping people be healthy and feel better. She was very sickly herself when she was younger and thanks to her getting educated about what we are eating, she is helping a lot of people overcome their ailments. God did not create our bodies to run on chemicals. He provided real food to fuel our bodies and help them function as they should. The chemicals are destroying us. (Have you noticed the great increase in cancer since our “wonder age of chemistry). Just try eating clean for a month and see what it does for you. It can’t hurt.
I think all those negative commentators of foodbabe.com are certified paid Trolls of AHA. I am a living testimony that vegetable oil products are really very unhealthy to us. Believe me people, everything that has been said here are TRUE.
This Website is accurate and truthful and if you desire a quality, healthy life I suggest you take what is said to heart. The food babe is going up against the huge food corporations who are making toxic food for our society and they are the ones posting the negativity. Sad!!
This site is perfectly FINE! Look folks, the ratings here are nothing but blatant attacks on a woman who has found that the food industry has been deceiving the public. Just look at the rate of disease in this nation compared with the world. I am appalled that people stoop so low as to claim their own scare tactics -- doing the exact same thing that they say she is doing. I have been toying with uninstalling this program but now I know I will. If this were a malware situation warning people, I would pay heed but now that I've seen that this is nothing but attacks on people who simply want to have a voice and warn what they have learned. If you don't like it then avoid it. But don't use it as a hit job. I am disgusted with WOT.
The Food Babe has No Idea how Physiology Works
While some of her claims are baseless and sometimes, yes, just wrong, the extremely bad ratings here, all done by similar-sounding people, show how much the chemical industry feels the need to spread a ridiculous fear of clean organic foods which, unlike many chemicals in our conventionally-produced foods, are basically free of possible issues.
Please keep in mind that Monsanto and other chemical companies have for decades kept information secret that would show how dangerous their chemicals are. Millions of people would have died or be disabled if Monsanto, DuPont, Bayer, etc. had acted ethically and lawfully instead of holding back shocking information.
Their trolls are now out trying to discourage you from learning about the dangers of their products in your food. Take care when reading their comments.
Love Food Babe for sharing information one doesn't get anywhere else. The latest is a list of commonly-used processed foods showing the levels of glyphosate (Roundup) pesticide in them. Glyphosate is an extremely toxic chemical. I believe if people bothered to find out how toxic glyphosate is and how much food we eat contains it people would all be up in arms. Thank you, Food Babe!
Food Babe is an honest, tell it like it is site. I have gotten a lot of helpful & healthful information from this site plus super recipes! People who don't want to take responsibility for their own health or companies afraid it might impinge upon their profits rate this as unsafe. Shameful!
This is another case of WOT raters scoring a site as untrustworthy because they disagree with it. That is NOT the point of WOT. If you don't like content of a site, don't visit it. It's not ok for people to misleadingly mark a site because of their personal viewpoints.
This site makes false and misleading claims that are in opposition to scientific evidence. FoodBabe is extremely harmful and contributes its part in making anti-science movement, thus making Americans and thousands others from all over the world dumber and dumber.
It is easier to report what she gets right - nothing. All her "information" referencing health, nutrition and chemistry is flat out wrong. Runs a scam - company, advertise on my site or I will set my lemming on attack mode - her site features products which contain the exact same ingredients she has attacked non sponsors for using.
This site is essentially the blog of a known quack and fraud named Vani Deva Hari, also known as Food Babe. She has no actual degree in any field of study related to diet, nutrition, biochemistry, or health. Her entire claim to fame is her promotion of pseudoscience and use of FUD tactics to generate page views, which conveniently also generates her a significant revenue as an affiliate marketer. As far as I'm concerned, nothing she states on this website (or anywhere else) should be accepted as true or scientifically literate.
Not only do I recommend you avoid this site and all its claims, but I suggest you actively discourage anyone and everyone from taking this person seriously and giving her anymore page views. Fraudulent marketers like her are only interested in generating money off the gullibility, FUD, and illiteracy of the general populace.
