Is freeview.co.uk Safe?

While this site is generally good and does not appear to harm your computer, it does contain a certain amount of misleading information that could place you in legal jeopardy. For instance, it claims "after the one-off cost of purchasing the equipment, you pay no subscription to receive Freeview.". This is only a half-truth: you must maintain a valid TV License that covers the equipment you use to watch or record Freeview transmissions. As I write this, I don't have a TV myself so I don't know what the TV License costs, but I believe it's well over £10 a month. Receiving Freeview without a TV License can, on conviction, lead to some pretty heavy fines.
