This is one of the cheapest top-level domain suffixes out there. Unfortunately this is exploited by spam and malicious intent. This website is the 'home base' of the .xyz domain. Don't fault the home, fault the individuals who abuse the domain!

From Linkedin you get redirected here, from a notification purporting to be about an absolutely different subject. Misleading text on Linkedin : "Are you a board member ? Apply now to see if you qualify to join a select network of professionals?

When trying to go to download.com.com, I got redirected there. This kind of redirection is often used by domain squaters, many fraudulent "search engines" and some shady domain name brookers.
