This is a great and fun way to spend time on your own, with friends, family, and just to have fun outdoors. I don't normally rate site's as child safe as I don't have children in my home, but I do have relatives that are of the age that I've taken geocaching with me, so I scored this site with a high rating for child safety. They use the site to report their found geocaches, and I communicate with them and monitor their progress in their hunts for geocahces on the site. This is a great way to have fun that doesn't cost any money (you can spend money if you get into the hobby and so desire, but you can do it for free). Best of luck on the hunt!
