Major ISP and Telecommunications provider for the UK. Site is the main site for their internet service and acts as a portal to their other services. There is some tracking on the site and also some (Non invasive) ads on the site. Site appears to have numerous ip addresses listed on ***** Closer examination shows that many of the listings are ISP initiated and only highlight the IPs where customers are not service compliant with regard to sending of emails.

At first I thought BT had got it right but on using their homepage for a while it is clear they are not keeping abreast of real news stories and seem to put too much emphasis on celebrity and media trivia. I would also mention the 'Your email is about to change' notification on the page. How long is about to I wonder. It has been putting this message across for months now and it is becoming very tedious.

Okay: The BT site is not to everyone's taste, least of all mine, but I can see that in the near future it will come to the good. Yes: There are a nagging little adverts for example, their own promoting the premier league, not being a football fan I do find it annoying but that is all. If BT gave an option to hide the advertisements it would vastly improve browser experience.
