Is isoriver.com Safe?

Isoriver offers what seems to be a nearly unique service in keeping old, discontinued and otherwise unsupported software available. Not everyone can afford to update to the latest kit and software. I didn't have a backup of Office 2011 since it could always be got from Microsoft - until I had a dead laptop and found that it was no longer available to install on the replacement. Isoriver provided the installer, I had the key backed up, now all sorted. No malware, just the old installer as signed by Microsoft. With everything now in the cloud and software not on DVDs this is only going to become more important, as developers pull old versions to force people into paying again, or move to rental business models.

misconceptions from the reviewers below - downloading ISOs are legal. It's the keys/licenses that are problematic. This site doesn't provide the keys - just the ISOs. Useful for getting ISOs of old software that vendors don't host anymore. Eg, Windows 7... for Windows 8.1 or newer? Just go to MS site and download it directly there instead.
