As far a LDN, goes, there will never be clinical trials done on this drug b.c. there is no money in it for the drug companies. From a personal note, I used to be on 60 mg of Oxy. I went totally off it and started using LDN and it works great for the pain. It has been over two years now, and I am of course, on no narcotics. LDN is cheap and has no side effects.
