Site for academic research and researchers. You can sync your research papers across multiple devices, highlight and comment them and share them with your peers. Has also add-on for e.g., Microsoft Word, that can handle your citations and create sources list automatically.

Really useful tool to manage references (and notes) for researchers. Social functions can be useful. Really good when coupled with google scholar using the import function of Mendeley (though there could be some trouble with the inner data like authors name and conference/journal articles come from). Sadly, it's still difficult to use on android. Oh, and there is no real transparency (it's not opensource). But it's still a good tool !
