Is mineplex.com Safe?

***** is a website for the very very popular minecraft server; us.mineplex.com/eu.mineplex.com. It usually ranges (on week days) from 5-10 thousand players almost all the time. At night time it usually hits about 2-3 thousand. On weekends, 7 am looks a lot like 10,000 players, meaning that their record of 43,000 players on at one time is very possible. This is a good website where you can share information about the server, talk about minecraft, and report bugs/players.

***** is the website of the Minecraft server, Mineplex. It is comprised not only of the home page with server news and updates, but also mainly formed around a message board hosting a community of gaming enthusiasts with an average age range of ***** That being said, the website itself is trustworthy, but the user must understand that other users may or may not always have good intentions when posting content on various topics around the website. The site itself is well moderated and any rule-breaking is often removed within a few minutes, but the threat of clicking something by accident before it is removed is still there. Overall, the user must treat this with the same caution that they would any message board, should they choose to venture into the social part of the website. A side note: Most, if not all, of the highly negative reviews posted around the same time as this have spawned from a debate within a relatively small portion of the community. Although they may be reflective of those users' views, one must understand that these people still often frequent the website to interact with the message boards and other users despite their seemingly bad ratings.

It's a terrible server and community. The staff and tryhards are robotic, they label anything not worshipping holy Chiss "hate." They cover up everything that exposes them, there has been an incident where a developer named G/Brad sexually harrassed a girl. And the Leadership Team targeted the 15 year old girl instead of the 20 year old pervert. They bribed Enjin to punish everyone who posted the truth instead of keeping quiet. Honestly terrible.

This site is just a simple "No." all around. With allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination towards certain religions, botting, etc. I wouldn't recommend going to this site. Not only that, but this site/company has a strong history of lying to and hiding information from the public.

It's simply put, this website only cares about the money the community gives it. They may as well be renamed Narcissismplex as they seem to only care about their public image, rather than the happiness of their customers. They call this a childrens server, however just recently a developer by the username 'G' or 'Brad' as he seems to be called throughout the community was caught sexually preying on multiple UNDERAGE members of the community. Mineplex then silenced the community about speakiing out about this issue as it made them look bad (for obvious reasons). This is not a good place for children as it discourages children to have strong opinions about something due to the fact that you get punished for having a negative opinion about the company.

While on the surface a good server, this server has attempted to hide the fact that they hired a pedophile. This pedophile was a developer on this server, and Mineplex is banning anyone who speaks about it from the site. Also, they routinely lie to their players and even staff.

It is a good website and all, but Mineplex literally stalks you. They search everyone who has been on Mineplex basically and see if they had been talking bad about players/staff. If you are, you get an immediate network ban. This is not a lie. If you think it is... then why are you even involved in the community if you are not aware of what really happens? Overall, it is meh. Kinda good and suspicious. I don't feel really safe on the website when I know the leadership is watching everyone literally.

Mineplex is a Minecraft server which has a horrible PR and numerous rumors surronding it. Firstly is the fact that people as low as 12 have access to your IP, and can use that to do with as they wish. If you access the site, I would definitely use a VPN. Secondly is the fact that numerous promises for Legends (Which payed 100 dollars) have been broken. Numerous games modes as well such as Clans and more have been delayed for over a year, and people thinking they would get to see it have left the server. Other important facts is that one of the owners, has apparently made anti-Christian comments, while another one has made comments against homosexuals. Community wise, it is completely chaotic. Various disputes always occur on the site almost weekly and with little to no PR the staff get bashed almost daily. On the other hand, other members of the community treat them almost as Saints and infallible. The site is basically a free for all with one side against another. The fun of it is almost exactly what you would expect in such a case. The site censors any negative opinions of itself and simply archives them to be forgotten. There have also been rumors that the site uses bots to boost player count as well, although it hasn't been confirmed. There is many other disputes to bare as well. On another note, the site uses the Enjin platform which porn spammers often use and seeing porn is almost certain when you are using the site. Although posting porn isn't allowed, however that will not stop your kids from seeing it. The site also slows down your computer compared to other websites. I rated extremely poor for trust, and moderate for being kid friendly. If you want a better option, simply play Hypixel.
