Ist myfax.com sicher?

Attempted to no avail to cancel my account via telephone and email. My account was never cancelled and after googling "cancel myfax" I discovered thousands of other people that have found it impossible to cancel their account, and keep getting charged. I ended up having to call my bank, dispute their mysterious $1 charge, and change my CC info so I know I don't get charged in the future.

I received a message from these people saying that "since you just used our services to send a fax, and you now know how easy it is - we want to offer you a 30-day free trial." First of all - of course, I never used their services, and my address is on a privately owned domain. Second, how could I have been using their services without having passed through their so-called trial period? Did I already pay for it? If so, why would I need a 30-day trial? No, this is highly questionable. That they have such a high score on WOT is also questionable, and probably an example of where the system fails. They have their own people register good reviews, and then when other people see the green circle they don't bother to investigate and just ignore it. Thus leaving it with a positive score. So no - if you're having a questionable experience with this site, register it! Take the time to make the WOT system work!
