Is myngp.com Safe?

Several users on different domains getting unsolicited, unconfirmed bulk e-mail. At least one user tried to unsubscribe without effect. Seems to be mostly political spam, including begging money for out-of-state elections. Blocked on my servers. Mail admins: I see no reason not to block this domain on any mail server.

On average, GoDaddy has a small fraction of its registered domains being spammed every day. (5.83% - 318 of 5459 every 5 days in September) In October 2011, this crept up to 36% - 2613 of 7177. Because it is the largest in the market, this fraction translates into thousands of violations of their terms of service every week. GoDaddy should create and monitor their own spam-trap and get proactive in managing this spam outbreak now that it has become an epidemic. They should work cooperatively with spam research companies to fix their problem.

We have implemented technology to protect our systems and to regularly scan our sites for malware. NGP Software provides software products and services for our clients that include email marketing tools. We have anti-spam policies in place for our clients and respond quickly to complaints.
