It's completely safe for children as long as they stick to their real birthdate. Some inappropriate content may slip through in the NeoBoards, especially when the monitors are idle.

I've had my account terminated twice for things I didn't do. Of course, this usually happens after I haven't been on the site in months and decide to go on it, and then the next day is when I find my account is frozen. When I sent an e-mail to them about it, I never got a reply.

Ghostery ( firefox addon ) reports 1 web bug active on the site, originating from different sources.

I love it, although there are many advertivments, it is easily avoidable by using Firefox's AdBlock Plus

Great site for kids.... I recommend this for an alternative to the other download games... one thing is the ads... in those cases, just use Adblock Plus on Mozilla

I believe the site was originally intended for bored college students. I'm no longer either, but I still enjoy the site from time to time. Great for all ages. Very child safe etc. The ads are horrible. They are supposed to stay out of the way etc. However a lot of them still drop down onto the screen. This is extremely annoying when you are in the middle of a game. Upgrading to a premium account gets rid of all the ads. All in all a fun site. Great entertainment for kids of all ages.

They have a lot of great fun flash games, and some are even educational. The sponsored games aren't as much fun, but they pay well in the neopoints needed to get food for your pets.
Phishing and scams have been a big problem on the site for ages. If you want to keep your kids safe and happy, and not expose them to others that would try to scam them out of their account, neopoints, items, etc, then make sure you keep them OFF the social parts of the site.
NO neomail, message boards, guilds, member run shops, etc. These are where all the scams & phishing begin.
To protect privacy, use an ad blocker and don't click ANY offsite links.

Tolle Spieleseite, die auch noch den Jugendschutz unterstützt. Kleiner Abzug an Punkten für das ausblenden der lästigen Werbebanner durch Bezahlung für einen Premium Account. Ansonsten kann ich diese Seite nur jedem empfehlen. Kinder, die dort spielen müssen ein Mindestalter von 13 Jahren haben, um in den Foren lesen oder schreiben zu können. Und kleine Notiz am Rande noch. Ein Account wird NUR gefroren, wenn sich der Accounteigentümer dort schlecht benimmt oder sonstige ungesetzlichen Dinge macht. Das zum Thema frieren des Accounts User Ahmadz ;) Ich habe dort seit Jahren einen Account und verhalte mich den Regeln entsprechend. Bisher habe ich dort niemals Probleme gehabt.
