Some of the articles are OK for kids but not the comments section. The comments are hate filled diatribes. Profanity, insults, sexual innuendo. Kids stay away.

Though the Yahoo's future is nothing in search but for sure Yahoo news is something I prefer to read. The layout is clean and navigation is simple for reader.

I cannot tell you how many breaking news events I learned from came from Yahoo news. In fact, it seems like I am reading an article every day. I haven ot had issues with the service and recommend it to those who like reading up on events.
