OK, Truste. How do you explain these 2 things at the same time:?
01/25/2012 TRUSTe Does not meet minimum standards set by TRUSTe for data governance and privacy. [link]
12/14/2010 TRUSTe Site owner holds a TRUSTe® EU Safe Harbor Seal [link]
Then combine that with everything other users have discovered and the results are UGLY!!!
Ning was free up until a few months ago. They started charging a monthly fee. I initially signed up for the fee for 2 ning social networks. However, for the past month I have been trying to cancel from the website. Ning has no links that allow you to cancel your soc. networking site. They offer you the ability to cancel your individual page but the entire site, that you pay for, they don't offer a link to cancel that and they do this intentionally. I have sent several emails to Ning and have received no response while they continue to take the monthly fee from my PayPal account. Not giving customers the ability to cancel and not be charged the monthly fee is a terrible way to do business.
