omtrdc.net server collects and tracks your private information. Which in turn Adobe monetize by selling to other companies. Read more: • https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/omtrdc.net#comment-60030305 • *****

FEB 2012 Microsoft Outlook (new hotmail) wants to use this web site. Site is owned by Adobe. So I gotta trust it. JUN 2016 My opinion has changed. While I don't think it is malicious, I have disallowed it to run scripts with no apparent problems.

This site may not host or have any interaction with malware, but it's privacy issues are horrible. From Adobe's own website: " Information you may provide on that company's website, including information on registration forms Whether you clicked on an ad Items you've either purchased or placed within the shopping cart feature on that company's website Social network profile information, including photos, fan and like status, user IDs, age, and gender Some companies using Adobe services may send us information that allows them to identify you personally. Some companies may also buy additional information about you and then add that additional information to the information collected by Adobe's products on their websites. This additional information may include things like email addresses, account information, or Facebook profile information, including photos and usernames. " Collection of information from any forms you fill out, identify you personally and social network profile information! Basically they can pass on to other companies everything there is to know about you. Can there be a worse privacy danger? What I've copied from their website and posted is only part of what they are collecting. I hope everyone here uses Firefox with Ghostery, Better Privacy, Self Destructing Cookies and NoScript to protect themselves.

It is yet another tracker that I would recommend blocking.

Used on some bank sites, but you never know if data collected by a tracking script will not be compromised. Since functionality is not impared by not allowing the scripts, I choose not to allow them using NoScript. Since tracking scripts are used on many sites, the other questions are not relevant as too much depends upon the site upon which the scripts are used. This is a sales site targeting businesses, so it is not suitable for children.

Website owned by Adobe Systems Inc. But is used for distributing and show popups and online tracking.

Just a note that Verizon wireless uses this service too. I don't see any reason to permit it to run in your browser, verizon seems to work without enabling it.

This is the server that Adobe uses for tracking personal information about users across multiple sites, including social networking and shopping sites. Adobe then combines that info to build a comprehensive profile of all your behavior and sells that collected personal profile information to other companies. Info below from Adobe's site: ***** When a company uses Adobe's analytics and on-site personalization services, that company tells Adobe what type of information it would like us to collect. Examples of the type of information a company may ask Adobe to collect are: - The URLs of the web pages you visit and the time spent on them - The URL of the page that showed the link you clicked on that brought you to that company's website - The searches you have performed, including searches that led you to that company's website - Information about your browser and device, such as device type, operating system, connection speed, and display settings - Your IP address, which Adobe may use to approximate your general location - Information you may provide on that company's website, including information on registration forms - Whether you clicked on an ad - Items you've either purchased or placed within the shopping cart feature on that company's website - Social network profile information, including photos, fan and like status, user IDs, age, and gender Some companies using Adobe services may send us information that allows them to identify you personally. Some companies may also buy additional information about you and then add that additional information to the information collected by Adobe's products on their websites. This additional information may include things like email addresses, account information, or Facebook profile information, including photos and usernames.
