And before anyone talks about opt-in, I tried installing DaemonTools Lite earlier in the day - there was NO option to opt-in or opt-out of OpenCandy. Malwarebytes AM Premium will block the OpenCandy installer file, and Emsisoft products will block the installer containing OpenCandy altogether. Use another OpenCandy-free software if you can and save yourself the hassle.

OpenCandy collects data on what programs you have installed on your computer and tries to make suggestions on what additional software you might want to install. OpenCandy does advertise some malware such as Optimizer Pro, but if you decline the offers, OpenCandy will respect your wish and not install anything unwanted on your computer. Trust me this opencandy crap is malware ans spyware it DISABLES your virus scanner abilities. it made it to were i couldnt update malwarebytes or kaspersky it kept blocking my connection to update malwarebytes and kaspersky. but connection worked great for everything else.
