Optimus is a good service and the site is top notch. However, their ADSL modems/routers can be breached quite easily as they have standard passwords for backdoor entry. These backdoor entries are for their reps to fix issues for non-technical savvy customers. With this policy in mind, be wary of any other convenient behaviors Optimus might have, like possibly storing your passwords in the clear (instead of hashing them), for most customer reps to help you out. Recommendation: use unique passwords for Optimus web services, don't use something you previously used on some other website. You can use a service like LastPass to help you keep track of those unique passwords. And change those passwords frequently. Also get a second router at home and get all your devices behind that, if you are using their most recent routers.
