Is ping.eu Safe?

Not sure how I navigated to the site < keywords ect > I have/had a DOA durabook UC12 that has been laying around for a year with some weird wifi virus . It would say something very close to this ** PAY YOUR WIFI CONECTION NOW !! ** and could not get a connection no matter what I did , THIS STARTED RIGHT AFTER I GOT THIS OVERPRICED TWIN HEAD PIECE OF JUNK BACK FROM THE FACTORY . They saId there was a spot of water on the mother board and so your warranty will not cover ???? ON A COMPUTER THAT IS ADVERTISED AS WATER SPILL PROOF RESISTANT ??? DO NOT BUY A TWINHEAD PRODUCT ( WARNING ) rant off - so I was searching for drivers to re-vive the dead ( Because they were not on the manufacture web site ) a hundred search hours later I came upon this site with a penguin on it . MMMM looked trustworthy enough and found what I thought was a good driver to get the juices going . Before the fix could not get windows to start at all . I swapped out 4 hard drives and still no windows . I downloaded a driver off this site onto a thumb drive on onther win 7 comp - inserted the drive into the dead lap-top and 5 minutes later the registry items all got repaired and all standing at rigid attention attention saluting the good ole US of A awaiting for its next deployment of adventure .. TRUE STORY :) Thank you for Open Source Software !
