Scare headlines always sells. The fact that their backup information is minimal to non existent. If you claim fire long enough, eventually you will be right; for a short time. All this to sell a subscritpion. The popup when you refuse it is an added "plus".

Incredibly alarmist - and by that I mean 'not credible'. The few facts he uses to support his opinions are mostly incorrect or purposely misleading. Look up HR 2847. He notes that Cuba and Iran are no longer accepting US dollars - umm... yeah - must be because there's a problem with the dollar. His timeline on British socialism vs economy is historically incorrect. That's as far as I got before deciding it was a scam. He only wants $50 a year to save you from riots and starvation and bankruptcy? What a bargain. It's unsafe for children to be this misinformed by an adult.

Seriously folks. The writing's on the wall regarding the information this company produces. Just follow the patterns as explained and you'll see that they're right on the money generally speaking. Nobody can predict the future per-say, but they seem to do a pretty good job of portraying the patterns we can all see if we pay attention. A bit aggressive in making they're point at times, sure. But the info provides two incentives, to get your attention, and to make you stand up and look around you at what is really happening in our world today. You don't have to agree, or buy their news letter sub, but they aren't far off the mark as a rule of thumb. A worthy read IMO! And that's the point, it's an opinion. If you don't like it or disagree, go elsewhere! No one's stopping you, yet I'm willing to bet that 90% of the negatives are clueless about the reality they portray and have nothing better to do than unload their own inept ability to comprehend current market trends and the political reality that is doing everything this company is stating. It may not happen to the day they predict in all cases, but like one poster stated, show proof that they are truly misleading you in the wrong direction and therefore a negative entity. Seems they've been closer to the mark regarding the state we're in, ...and seemingly going to be, than any others I could name at the moment. I'm an average Joe like most out there with no formal education or investing experience, but I find the information enlightening and more honorable than most about the truth as they see it. Patterns tell undeniable truths in time. Looks to me their information / opinion speaks for itself. Just look at the patterns of the past and I think you'll see they're right more often than they're wrong. I've nothing to gain, so take my comments for what they're worth to you. Yes they have an aggressive campaign, but I've never seen spam from they're site and nobody's twisting your arm or bank account to support them. You don't like the info, go elsewhere and have your pity/misery party. Misery loves company and the negativity ratings here are misleading, if anything. I also agree with others here stating the questionable ethics of WOT. Seems more and more to be one sided and seemingly unfair in it's presentation of the truth it claims to portray / support. WOT... get your head out of your back side and police this system before it ends in a wave of negativity itself! Loosing faith in you WOT... all to often I see negative ratings for sites I know are positive and honorable. WOT's system is skewed and needs an overhaul before it's permanently derailed all together. Just my 2¢ worth...

You may not agree, but recent events has proven that the USA is doomed to drown in debt and eventually default. I believe this will destroy the USA. Did anyone find any specific inaccuracies in the presentation? I find that his message is what I have observed happening since the seventies.

I actually think he does a pretty good job of detailing a lot of the problems facing our country. But, he does have a poor reputation. A couple of links: ***** ***** ***** I've seen and read much of what he's discussing here elsewhere, but think he does a very good job of outlining it all. I personally would be reticent to invest anything with him, though.

F.Y.I. WOT you will notice gives all sites a poor rating that have anything to do with informing the people or lean towards the conservative. If however they are sites that promote socialism/communism they get high ratings. Objective observation will easily reveal this truth.

So this whole presentation is about how awfully in debt the country is, and how US currency is going to collapse, and then he wants to be payed in US currency?? Oh and not actual currency (like from a debit card) but he wants you to INCREASE your debt by paying him with a credit card??? Why Mr. Stansberry wouldn't you prefer to be payed in your Mystery Asset that all wealthy people own to make themselves more wealthy, and healthy??? LOL what a Crock O' S--t!!

Over the past 5 years I have always had good, reliable information from this site and will continue to use it.

WOT is becoming less and less reliable by allowing people to blackball sites because they don't like the information it contains -- not illegal or pornographic material -- but just a difference of opinion. I used to think WOT was the best, but now I almost look for sites that have the red. This is a man's personal opinion about finances. How can someone object to him having his say? But I also notice this if it's an alternative treatment for cancer or something health related that doesn't toe the AMA line. Also, religious sites seem to be getting targeted. I agree with the comment that says people shouldn't be able to rate negative without a concrete example of why.

Does BrokenHalo84 (user: ***** ) own ***** ??? Perhaps NOT, but I cannot trust a site that Hides behind a "Website Privacy Service". The report referenced on their page LOOKS Legit and plausible, but "LOOKS can be deceiving". I am very didenchanted with WOT to see them give a "RED" rating to a sight without even doing any "due diligence" Based Upon ONE negative rating!!! Can I rate a site that has never been rated with a posative rating and then have it remail green (or slowly moving to yellow as 5 or 10 people rate it BAD ??? I think NOT !!! Yet, one person has a negative comment on a site and even after 10 or 30 posative ratings the percentages are still down and the color is still RED !!! i joined WOT because it is a GOOD CONCEPT !!! But the reality is, it is very annoying to have to jump through "WOT's hoops" and see a "RED" rating on a site that I KNOW is GOOD (for it's "targeted Audience" !! Okay I'll get off of my "soapBox" now. I hope that the right people read this comment so that something posative will come of it!

This is the largest financial newsletter service in the USA, maybe the world, that's all. I don't know if they sell yr email to others, seems unlikely, as they would be competition! They may get annoying as to frequency of emails, but NOWHERE as bad the The Motley Fool, which my spam filter CANNOT get rid of, so I've come to loathe the Fool. I also bought their lifetime sub service @ US$1500.00, so at 70 it must have some value for me!

There is this ad that drones on and on about "assumptions". He never gives any hard evidence, wheres the footage, wheres the actually facts, wheres the data. All he goes on to say is that "this happened so I believe this will happen". Its just like saying, the sky is blue so I'm going to win the lottery, its just plan ridiculous. I also believe the other people posting these good reviews are just people who work within the company (hence why they actually positive reviews). Don't give me this far left crap either, in the video it even states that "these statements might offend Republicans and Democrats," so you brought it on yourself. In the end the website is just another phishing scam (also it contains a lot of misspellings).

Get rich quick schemes. Whenever someone tells you how "amazing" and "lucrative" an opportunity is, along with all sorts of shining testimonials, then gives you the actual hardline at the end, be wary. This company sells information on how to invest. That would be fine, except the tactics they use to attract buyers is just like any other get-rich-quick scheme. It's 99% hot air. People can strike it big with investments if they dedicate themselves to knowing the markets full time. There's no easy shortcut.

WOT needs to start policing its own site before it becomes irrelevant. This is the 3rd time in the last month this rating error by WOT has happened to me. A poor rating means UNSAFE. This is NOT the case with Stansberry Research, which seems to be on someone's hit list now-- Perhaps someone who is running for President. Stansberry is in the business of selling financial newsletters-- a couple of which I have been receiving for several years. Their website is perfectly safe, though they do have a political opinion which is occasionally reflected in their emails and newsletters. Anyone who disagrees with their opinions on financial or political matters has the freedom not to read or subscribe.
