Many of these recordings contain vulgar language, graphic descriptions of sexual assault, drug dealing, racial violence, and other nasty stuff in a manner that glorifies the behavior rather than condemning or parodying the behaviors. Allies of the RIAA include iHeartMedia Inc. and Billboard. The website is simple to navigate, but the RIAA has been known to track users outside the website just after visiting their website once.

RIAA has a controversy of putting musics' price higher and adding DRM into it. Albums with CD will recuce computer's battery life and there is no way to move them out of the CD. In iTunes, every song is sold for $1. An RIAA Album containing 11 songs is sold for $13!

This organization has sued innocent people, has engaged in racketeering and profiteering, has denied musicians due royalties and more. While the site is overall a safe site in coding, you should take any statements made with a grain of salt especially with regard to piracy statistics and impact as well as so-called reports of jobs generated by Hollywood.
