After speed test performed, the PC was lagging considerably. Activated Malwarebytes anti malware which quarantined hundreds of tracking cookies . After cleanup the system speed was back to normal. I will never use this site anymore

There we go! Finally a speed test that doesn't make it's money from linking to questionable services such as registry boosters and other bogus speed enhancers! Advertising isn't inherently evil at all. This one as ads linking to internet services. This is a much better use of ad space. @ Cerealz- actually it is more accurate than Speedtest- who IMO also has dubious ethics.

It's a ok site for seeing if your getting what you payed for monthly from your ISP, if your not try updating your networking adapter driver before you call to complain. I'd use ***** instead, it provides more accurate results. *****

I'm not sure I believe the speed test results from this site. I'm on 6.0 DSL I get 8 megs sent to me from AT&T. But when I do a speed test from this site it shows that I am getting anywhere between 12 to 20 megs. That can't be. They only put out 8 megs from the main box. Be careful about these speed test. accuracy isn't guaranteed.
