It's a plugin for bypassing ad-block software. It claims to support content creators, but the info on the website is extremely vague. I don't need a mission statement, I just want to know what it does! Reviews on Google Chrome Web Store are negative, comparing the extension to adware. The search functions exactly the same as a normal search, but by searching through the sponsored window, the search engines provide compensation which is then shared with the publisher." According to the terms and conditions (http://supportfreecontent.com/terms.html), it's for "the ability to watch video content while still having access and use of other applications on your computer." Information about your computer (operating system, cpu type, IP address) is also detected for the same purpose. No personally identifiable information is collected about you. This information is not shared with third parties. If you do not want to participate in this detection, do not install the product."
