Le site thechive.com est-il sûr ?

Why this blog/site has green circle and excellent reputation if it's full of viruses and malware? This is serious test for WOT and if you are for what you represent ( web of trust ) then you should reconsider decision about it. If there is no red circle, I won't believe you at all. This is really awefull site if you have kid and wants to see something! P.S Many much better sites has so low reputation "thanks" to you! Shame on you wot!

So while theChive is one of my favorite sites for random pictures of silly things, or cats, or dogs it is also unfortunatly hitched to some really untrustworthy advertisers.  If you run with scripts off, or use noscript the site is fine.  But when I have left scripting to run free I have had multiple instances of massive popup browser take over type crap saying click here to fix this virus thingy on your windows thingy.  So yeah the site is basically a malware disaster thanks to their advertisers.  Oh if you let scripts run there is a pretty good chance the site will munch down your CPU like a monster as it becomes insanely resource hungry.

Near naked girls and the user comments make it a not totally safe site for younger children. The is no out right nudity, but lots of partial nudity of both sexs in all the sites registered under this sites umbrella. Not a kids site at all. PG15+

I like the idea of this site, but they are an aggregator who steals the content of others. I've seen images from ***** posted here with theChive logo placed directly over it. Pretty lame and unprofessional. Also, you had better have NoScript if you visit, you WILL get malware otherwise. There are 30+ scripts on this page, which is beyond ridiculous. They seem to be Web 2.0's version of Ebaumsworld.

I wanted to look at cottages and yes , I got cottages but I also got a sidebar with what looks like porn mixed with everyday junk and some video that says "hardcore" featuring an eight year old girl? (No I did not open) very scary....if you are what you eat and you are what you think, we've got alot of disgusting people out there..... and how did wot give this a green light?
