Obedience will solve all Behavioral problems. Obedience is Communication which gives us the Control. So, a dog that is pulling on the leash, we would use obedience to correct the problem. Now that you have control over your dog, you can use the Obedience to navigate and correct just about any behavioral problem.
Lev I or basic obedience can help adjust behavior. I'm sure you have control most of the time. I'm sure your dog has learned and does know allot commands or tricks.
This however, is not obedience. Obedience is communication which gives of the control and the means to correct for bad behavior. Being able to correct your dog for bad behavior, reward for good behavior teaches your dog what's appropriate and inappropriate. So, basic obedience will give you the means to correct your dog when they display this behavior.
Right now, you really have no means to correct your dog’s behavior. Whatever you're using as discipline, they are not associating it with their behavior. Without obedience the dog has no vocabulary or context for what you are saying or doing.
