Is thesimsresource.com Safe?

The reason why i am giving it 3 stars and not lower is because it changed a lot since the past . I remember when you had to donate in order to get premium content (which far as i know it's illegal taking into consideration the EA Games TOS) .. but luckily they changed it and everyone has access to those beautiful design. I never donated any single penny and far as i can see i can use it safely this way. Take care of those nudity stuffs that might be available for download.

Периодически генерируются сообщения о "технических проблемах" и просят подождать, или заплатить денег. После оплаты обещают быструю навигацию и отсутствие каких-либо проблем.

В целом, хороший сетевой склад различных прекрасных штучек для всех версий игры Sims. Независимые авторы, как я понимаю, выкладывают свои работы для свободной загрузки. Качество работ разное: от очень уродливых до чрезвычайно прекрасных. Качать нужно очень избирательно, так как в самой игре большая часть материалов выглядит не так, как на картинках авторов материалов! Следует заметить, что очень много откровенной одежды, местами даже есть обнажённая человеческая натура! Поэтому данный сайт не для детей и даже не для подростков, я бы дал ему маркер 20+. Что касается премиум-аккаунта, то как-то раз я купил его, и владельцы сайта честно отключили мне рекламу на месяц. Так что с премиум-аккаунтом никакого мошенничества я не заметил.

Mauvais site, contient des virus via les téléchargements, mauvais pour l'ordinateur, ne respecte pas la propriété intellectuelle EA, staff du site incompétent et irrespectueux envers les utilisateurs. Mauvais pour les enfants, publicités pouvant être choquantes...

The site has overall vastly improved in the last few years. However it has regressed very badly in advertisements. Since they dropped the paid mod system in October 2013, they have put more and more advertisements on the site. In very obtrusive places directly in the main content. And if you block their ads by any means, they'll spam your page with a huge amount of "don't ad block us" messages, replacing maybe a third of the downloads per page with images that say that. Along with big sidebar ads that beg you not to block them. And, they seem to track you and slow down your downloads and the wait time to download if you're adblocking. I get that ads are necessary to survive, but you're not going win anyone over by being an obnoxious prick about the ads. The ads that they do use are usually suspicious and, like ads anywhere, can potentially contain malware and viruses because they don't seem to care about the quality or legitimacy of their ads.

I did a virus scan the day before and cleaned my computer. However, after downloading one item from this site, I ended up with 10 tracking cookie alerts. Also has a large amount of ads, and using ad-block just makes things complicated. Not going to mess with this site again anytime soon, just as a precaution

This site has greatly improved from the past of having payed downloads (Which is against the EULA). I only have been using the site for a short while but already I have some complaints about this site. First, it's not Adblock friendly. I understand the need for sites needing to place ads to be viewed by fans of the site and I believe it is perfectly fine just to ask the viewer to disable Adblock while viewing the site. This site provides a glitched 60 second wait between downloads. How is it glitched you ask? I experienced that if you navigate between tabs the wait pauses sometimes when you are not on the download tab, and you can't download two things at once without one finishing going to the home screen, missing the download. Overall, it is extremely slow to browse and download content from the site with Adblock. I also had negative experiences while turning off Adblock. I have had video advertisements that go fullscreen, flashing advertisements and all. Overall, if this site would be friendlier to Adblock users I would probably visit this site more and give it a more positive rating.

I appreciate TSR as a complete source for The sims content. They have almost all things for the game you can think of and some of their Featured artists are simply the best out there ( not all featured ones, i may say...) Anyway, they have some content in skins which shows more than it should, almost a nudity. And this may be not appropriate for all users.

It's a good site for downloading content, you no longer have to pay for any of the premium downloads since October 2013, which is hard for the creators and they are now losing money, the only thing I strongly dislike is the support staff are rude and unreasonable when you're having an issue or you submit a download to the webpage. I don't know what people are talking about when they say it has explicit adult content because I've been using this site for 5 years and have NEVER seen something inappropriate! Nor have I ever gotten a virus from downloading anything the years I've been a member. Sounds like someone just wants a reason to complain.

Why are you giving the site low reputations? I have bought subscriber I NEVER got scammed or anything. I have downloaded from there and its completely virus free. Okay, maybe it happened with you but it has not happened with me. So what is the problem with this site? And theres no such of mood with "horny" in it or anything.
