This site is selling diagnostic software for motor vehicles. I thought it all looked too good to be true, so I decided to do some checking. I found that this is not a legit Australian business. It has no Australian Business Number (ABN), and is not found on any Aust Govt website as a registered business. The street address given on its Facebook page is quite vague. And the website owner is registered in Panama, although who he/she is is not shown. Beware of this website.

Found site very easy to use. And Toad obd software certainly does as site claims. So didn't find incongruencies! I have never used an obd/obd2 software before and am a self taught mechanic. I recently started working on my cvehicle r after an incident with a mechanic trying to trick me. It successfully diagnosed the problem when the engine light turned on. In overall, TotalCarDiagnostics works as advertised and I have no complaints. I recommend it to anyone who owns a vehicle as it can prevent a mechanic from ripping you off. Note that it notifies you of the issue - but NOT the cause. Although it is very easy to find the cause. Google the code number that pops up along with your vehicle make, model, and year and you will find the likely the answer to your car's issue. Including others opinions on how to fix it.

Bought RossTech VAGCOM with included VCDS from their online store. Works like the real thing. Can also code. Auto-scan doesn't work on VAG 12, but does on upgraded VAG 17. Also VAG 12 can't do coding, only diagnostics. So if want to code car, go for VAG 17. Otherwise, excellent investment. No regrets and saved me $600+ and instantly showed ABS error on 2017 VW.

Reading many positive reviews about Total Car Diagnostics and their products, I though I'd give TOAD a try. Expecting to get the same old under-promised, over-hyped experience, as is true with many of these OBD diagnostic scantools I got from eBay. Not so with these guys. Turned out to be a stellar exceptional product that worked on our 2001 Holden, 2004 Ford & 2014 BMW X5. Instantly showed their condition and faults. Saved us at least $2000 in repairs. My initial support ticket took 2 days to get answered. Next one took under 24 hours. So be prepared to wait. I'm sure they're dealing with many support requests. Install: Quick, smooth and easy, thanks to provided step-by-step instructions on their site. Software friendliness: Overwhelming at first. 1 hour of playing with it, got it! Be prepared for initial learning curve. Cost: ***** Compared to what I've seen on the market, TOAD's functions match, if not excel professional $3,000 scanners easily.

Completely safe. Norton picked up virus, but it's a false suspicion. using Total Car Diagnostics products for 3 years without an issue. They're stable, established company. And I've seen at least 6 companies similar to them go down in last 3 years. Glad these guys are going strong.

After buying Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics, I wonder why I never bought TOAD before! It's cheap, and it has helped so much with a check engine light problem and trying to pass emissions. I no longer need to take a trip to my local auto parts store to see what the CEL code is. It tells me the code and I search online, and voila, I know generally what my problem is. Then I can buy parts or take it to a shop if needed. It also helps to know when it's ready for emissions testing. Before, I would go to the emissions place and just hope the drive cycle was ready after having CEL problems worked on. Now I know beforehand. Hi five to Total Car Diagnostics!

Love Total Car Diagnostics! Wife and I sent away for the TOAD® CAN OBD II OBD2 Scanner Tool by Total Car Diagnostics and have already used it a couple of times! We recently bought a car for our son that not long after purchase had problems! Shortly after purchasing this used car, my son decides to test out the turbo feature in the car and since then has stopped working. My husband suggested we purchase the Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics Scanner Tool. While I was completely skeptical because who buys a scanner that will actually work and give a non-mechanic or untrained professional code detecting problems in a car, right? This one actually worked I'm elated to say! My son recently purchased the part that is supposed to fix the problem and while now that is fixed, the Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics scanner tool detected that there now is an electrical short in the transmission! While I doesn't help us fix the problem, this is certainly a great tool to have because it helps you make basic decisions as to whether or not the car needs a professional mechanic or shop to fix it! We would highly recommend the tool for anyone who is not only handy enough to fix basic car problems but who doesn't mind having a little knowledge in their arsenal.

Dont' see any problem with site as far as I've been with TotalCarDiagnostics for over 3 years.There are a lot of scanners out there, Total Car Diagnostics is the best one that I have used with out going to the parts store and getting the old LCD readout style. This paid for it's self in the first two days. Helped me fix my 99 S10, vacuum leak, IAC valve, camshaft position sensor and a TPS. it all cost me $35 for all the parts and didn't have to go to a mechanic. I would without hesitation recommend this to any DIYer or if you want to know more about you vehicle. It even allowed me to show the dealer where my new Jeep was messing up (without engine light), they took it right away and were surprised on how much information there was without hooking up their thousand dollar machine. I can't say how awesome TOAD is. Hope this helps you decide.

I used "Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics", on my car to determine the error codes for the check engine light, and was able to turn the check engine light off with this tool once I knew what was wrong. It was bigger than I expected it to be, being about the size of a computer mouse. I would highly recommend getting involved with ***** and their car enhancing/diagnostic products as an investment, and knowing yourself what's wrong with the car AT ALL TIMES; instead of some auto place maybe reading it wrong or making you buy the wrong part.

In overall TOAD (Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics) is an excellent diagnostic software that "just works". Of course TotalCarDiagnostics has superior customer service. Besides that, I got this up and running TOAD (Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics) within 10 minutes. I've had a few hand-held devices and Wow!! I wouldn't trade this in for any of my old sets. It only took about 2 minutes to get this hooked up to the port of my 2005 Chrysler and I am by no means a computer whiz being middle-aged and probably took longer than I needed to in getting it set-up. Thanks to great support this is the best OBD2 diagnostic software and scanner I've ever used to date.

Not their fault entirely. I didn't have all too pleasant experience solving connection issue to car. Otherwise, product worked on friends car. Otherwise, much more thorough then Torque OBD App on Android. TOAD works great with my 2007 Chevy Silverado, 2015 BMW X5, and 1998 Toyota Landcruiser. Also contains powerful chip tuning (or car hacking software), but you'll need some serious tuning knowledge first. Also happy it does measurements in both metric and English units such as speed and temperature. I've also used Torque on Android, and while Torque is a good OBD scanner, where it lacks is depth of data. In comparison it scans 20% of what TOAD can return at least on all 3 cars tested. Nonetheless, TOAD program and data cable provided is exactly what I need for all my car needs from now on. Beats paying BMW/Toyota or a garage $100 - $150 for just the fault code diagnosis, and probably another $200 or more to replace a $40 part which should take me 5 minutes to remove and re-install.

Simple TOAD review- having these codes can save you a lot of grief and money and it is not costly and it is easy to use. The code I needed was on TotalCarDiagnostics website, but there are tons of places on the WEB to look the codes up, even for your car model, and get all sorts of practical advice. Also, you can find where to hook it up on you car on the web. Do this first, as if you do not know where to find it on your car exactly you can waste time and contortions. I found out my code was really minor, and it is a big relief knowing I do not have to rush the car in for a repair. Also, if you find it is major, you know you need to get your car in fast. Plus, it will arm you with knowledge and help you not get ripped off! I have a good honest mechanic now, but when I was younger I did not and this could have saved me a lot of time and money! Directions on install are also easy to follow. Generally TOAD (Total OBD & ECU Auto Diagnostics) by TotalCarDiagnostics is a well designed OBD2 diagnostic kit and after buying it, you do not have to waste money on the more expensive ones around.....

The best $127 that ive ever spent in my life! Total Car Diagnostics TOAD OBD easily diagnosed the problem that caused my truck's check engine light to come on, and just as easily turned the light off! TOAD saved me over $1200 in un-necessary repairs, and allowed the truck to pass inspection. Some states red flag vehicles with a recently reset system, this unit covers it's tracks by letting the scanner know when the system is "ready" for inspection. Would have rated 6 out of 5, if it were possible. Also gives the owner a heads-up on problems, before they take the vehicle to a mechanic.

TOAD from Total Car Diagnostics was probably the best money I've ever spent on my truck!!! Before I installed the programming in stock form my truck got 15.5 mpg and 325 miles to a tank of gas in mixed driving... Now it gets 18.5 mpg and ***** miles per tank of gas in mixed driving!! No BS!!! Thanks bullydog for making such a great product with great tech support to boot!!!
