Ist trulia.com sicher?

Trulia creates accounts grabbing your email without your knowledge and without you consent. Once created you cannot delete it, you cannot deactivate it. Apparently, you can only deactivate messaging - which is not true. Trulia do not comply GDPR (Data Privacy).

It truly is a terrible and barely functioning site. It's searches are terrible and there are a long list of other problems with it. Having said that out of the several major realty sites it may be the LEAST awful of the bunch. The others have problems ranging from viruses to being even more broken. There is a crying need for someone to step in and make realty site that really shines. Who will do it?

Review others comments before you use this site! Marketing practices are deceiving. Example: they register users without consent and without email verification. This could lead to fake accounts. This is a potentially illegal practice. Second, it is virtually impossible to unregister. Even calling them, they will keep your data, in spite of saying the opposite. Finally, this translate into deceiving practices when making contracts in real state.

SCAM. BEWARE. DO NOT EVER GIVE TRULIA YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. If you give them your credit card number, they will keep making unauthorized charges every month. They will say that you subscribed to their services when you only paid for a one-time service and then they will refuse to give you credit to refund your money. This deceptive, unscrupulous, unethical company is like a leech. The only resort you will have is to call your credit card company to lodge a complaint against Trulia and change your credit card number.

Sell or communicate your email address in some way. (I'm using unique emails for every websites I sign up and I'm receiving spam from "APARTMENT GUIDE" on my Trulia e-mail). I don't know if Trulia communicated my email for spam purposes or if Trulia communicated my email along with my apartement inquiries.

This is probably one of the most sophisticated and comprehensive real estate search sites available today. Trulia not only scours the net seeking currently available listings, but also provides recent comparable sales and a slick mapping feature for all properties presented. It is currently in Beta format and promises to provide some very real competition.
