Is us.mcafee.com Safe?

Despite the legitimacy of the product, the accompanying safe-web-browser program "McAfee SiteAdvisor" is ridiculously faulty and cannot identify a rogue website. Apart from that, the anti-malware product is remarkable, but I personally prefer Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware or BluePoint Security.

I am glad to be Unsubscribed; I was sick of the emails, sheesh!!!!! McAfee wasn't that great of a program when I had it, but it was better than Norton's - YUCK! N's is a resource hog and didn't detect well for me, even with Heuristics set as high as is possible..

McAfee's security solutions are horrible. My dad was using it for 1 year, and I told him to get ESET's NOD 32 Security Suite like I use, but he didn't. He left his computer on overnight one time, and a hacker went straight through the fully up to date firewall, and took a lot of information. When my dad ran a virus scan with McAfee, it was incredibly slow and found nothing. I had to take it to an IT friend of mine, and there were 10 thousand instances of malware, including 4,000 spy bots. I'm not kidding. McAfee is a horrible company. Don't trust them.

Official US site of McAfee, a security software company. Overall a safe site. I tried some of their products including their Antivirus and SiteAdvisor and didn't really like them. The SiteAdvisor gets updated too slowly. The McAfee Secure Seals are being given to fraudulent sites.

McAfee is a all in one security company to help you from getting spywere virus and other bad guys. i am hilly recommending there SiteAdvisor it is like WOT but from McAfee and they have made over ***** ratings on the web and it is incresing like WOT. Safe site. No spywere or virus or other bad guys. //Siferhumen

After using McAfee's Site-advisor, I will never use their software again! Their site advisor labeled a site as legitimate that MyWOT labeled as malicious! There are much better things you can use for security than these tools. Try Avast! Antivirus Home Edition and Spybot S&D instead. Those work quite well to keep you safe from the internet vandals.
