Good informative site. Clean site and safe to visit.

Excellent information; I wish I had listened to this before a wind farm was erected near our home. Every wind farm owner should be forced to live within a kilometre from their own wind power station, at least for ten years. I don't know what the reason for these wind farms is. To empty the countryside? Drive people ill and sell them medications for it? Reserve high grounds with the view of rising sea levels? Just to sell masses of these mills? They don't even provide electricity for the locals, but their expensive 'clean' energy is used by people in cities further away. Yet these mills are not erected near the capital city where it would cost less to transfer it to the users. Why?

Excellent source of information about the human health consequences of the 24/7 pulsating noise from giant wind turbines. Probably the best site for this information in the world, though it is focused on Australia.

Waste of electrons and energy......pure anti-wind misinformation to promote FUD....Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.

Like many Astroturf groups, the Waubra Foundation is deceptive by name and nature. It does not represent people from in or around the Waubra region and it certainly does not speak for them, despite the inference that it does. A full understanding of what he Waubra Foundation is really all about can be found here: *****

The Waubra Foundation is simply an anti-wind power site under another name. It is based on a collection of anecdotal evidence, collected by an unregistered doctor who has no research qualifications, from people who believe wind turbines have made them ill and seems to be funded by anti-renewable and pro-fossil fuel people. There is no connection to the town of Waubra; the so-called Foundation uses the name against the wishes of the people who live in Waubra. *****

The group has no members or directors from Waubra, and the majority of its directors are known anti-wind activists. This is in clear breach of their charter. The medical director/CEO is not a qualified epidemiologist, is not a health practitioner and has not followed standard ethical research protocols for any of her studies. The group often appears alongside other astroturf groups associated with AEF, IPA and Bluegrass Consulting. The CEO frequently contributes content and comments to misleading and slanderous blogs.

Seven things you must know about the Waubra Foundation and their CEO Sarah Laurie: 1. They have no relevant expertise and reject independent expertise and peer reviewed science 2. They misrepresent themselves as well as the work of others 3. They were formed by a coalition of wealthy, NIMBY landowners 4. They are consistently unethical in their operations 5. They are global warming deniers 6. They have close ties to fossil fuel and mining interests opposed to wind energy 7. They live nowhere near Waubra and the town is outraged at them *****
7
Promotes the fictitious "Wind Turbine Syndrome". Employs invalid methods and anecdotal "evidence" to spread fear an anxiety. Causes illness in ways similar to those of witch doctors. Unethical and dangerous.
