This is an update. I thought under new management things would get better, but like the other users said, things got much worse after their "transition". First, during the transition, they straight up lost my databases. These were databases for clients of mine. They not only lost the data, but the tables, everything! They claimed they restored it and all they restored was a database of the same name with no data or tables. I did not have them backed up, so I was SOL. A couple of months go by when they charged my card, and I had reached my limit on that card. They attempted one charge that failed to go through. I accept that I was in not as responsible as I could have been keeping a better eye on the card that they automatically charge every month; however, after attempting the card one time and it being declined, they immediately put my account on hold, thereby taking down all of my client's sites. No warning, no notification. About a week after that, out of the blue, they did something in IIS so that my domains were no longer pointing to the correct folders on my server. I called to complain and they said they could restore it and I wouldn't have to do anything. Well, that was too much to ask for. I had a client call me freaking out the next morning saying their email wasn't working. Their email wasn't hosted with Webhost4life so I was confused. I log into my account and they changed the MX reccord and the A record to their default settings. This client just happened to be having a major dollar deal going through that day and were trying to email contracts to one another. I am switching to GoDaddy. I can get more space and more reliable service for half the price. The only hassle is that I hosted multiple clients with Webhost4life and the migrating process is taking a while.

I have used this site and several others for a few years and went through their new platform move without as much problems as other users have experienced but that may be how their sites were hosted or they may not have been as proactive with the move. I was warned in a timely manner about the move and worked with the host to make sure that the move was as transparent as possible. Wonderful pricing and excellent support.

I hosted with this company since 2005. In early 2010, without my consent, attempted to migrate my websites to their "new platform". After multiple failed attempts to do so (still without my consent or notice when they would be re-attempting to migrate) email for all my hosted domains went down for days. Website data was replaced with files and database content that was MONTHS old! When I contacted support to get things fixed they told me since my account was not yet migrated I'd have to contact "old" support. When I contacted "old" support they told me since my account was "being migrated" they could not help me, I'd have to contact "new" support. This went back and forth for days. I finally researched and found a new webhost, moved each one of my sites over, repointed my DNS, and finished my own migration -- all before they "finished" their migration. Now, when asking for a refund of the unused portion of my pre-paid service a billing supervisor tells me the amount to be refunded is less than $12. By my math it's over $112. Stay far, far away from this company.

Very poor experience. Site was down all the time due to their end of things.

I have recommended these guys to dozens of people in the past. Now I'm really embarrassed that I did. They went from being the best host I've ever used, to one that I had to drop. The changes are like night and day. The clincher is - I can't get rid of them! I am experiencing repeated unauthorized charges from webhost4life. I closed my account last year, when things went south, but without warning, my account was resurrected a few months ago, and they started charging the credit card they have on file. I called them to get the charges reversed, and a day later I see the reversal on my credit card company's web site. Cool, right? Wrong. A few days later they charge it again! When I call, they apologize and blame a "computer glitch". I get an email that the account is closed, and the charges have been reversed. I check, and they have. I think I'm done. A month goes by. Guess what I see on my credit card bill? Another unauthorized charge from Webhost4Life. I have spoken to the company repeatedly to reverse these charges and every time they assure me every time that my account is closed and there will be no more recurring charges. This is getting ridiculous. I am software developer. I'm familiar with billing systems, and there's no such thing as a computer glitch. It's more likely that the new regime at WebHost4Life has a policy to keep accounts open and hope those charges go unnoticed by their old customers' accounts payable departments. Not saying that's what they do - just that it's more likely than a mysterious "glitch". BTW - I now split my time between IX Hosting (for Unix) and Crystal Tech (for .NET) and so far, so good. Crystal is like the old days at WH4L. I miss those days.

WebHost4Life used to be absolutely perfect. I hosted multiple sites with them for many years (5+) and truly believed that it would be our "host4life". Recently, they either got acquired or underwent a major management overhaul. The migration to their new control panel was disastrous - we lost a lot of functionality that we needed and they were absolutely of no use to help us. And when our website went down in the middle of the night as a direct result of their actions, they did nothing to help us. After a string of issues, that was the last straw that broke the camel's back; we had to scramble to find a replacement ISP literally overnight - it was a nightmare! We also figured out that there are two sites. The "old site" is still managed by the folks who used to be very helpful and still has a copy of our content. The "new site" is the one with all the problems. We don't know if they're one company or two now, but we do know that our content is now hosted on old and new sites (or servers) managed by different groups concurrently! We want everything deleted from everywhere and can't get that done!!! Their console has a management interface for auto-renewals, which I set to NOT auto-renew as soon as we moved to a new ISP (which we were forced to do in one day when our site went down overnight). I distrusted their control panel and double-checked a couple of weeks later. Sure enough, my distrust was justified! It still says that we're scheduled to auto-renew! I can't delete my credit card information, and their auto-renewal system won't let me cancel auto-renewal. I did manage to get assistance from their Technical Support to get my account and content deleted, although they said that the old systems will take "a few weeks" to be deleted... So, I leave behind a copy of my content in servers to which I have no access with a company that I no longer trust...ugh... I don't like saying negative things about anyone; this is my first post on WOT ever and don't plan to make any others. But if sharing our experience spares someone else some pain (or, better yet, helps WebHost4Life wake up and improve for the benefit of all its customers), then it's worthwhile the time and effort. Those are the facts - you draw your own conclusions. We've since moved to Arvixe and are much, much happier; it was an instantaneous breath of fresh air. One of the first things we noticed is how much better our performance is - amazing! And their services are great. If you're looking for an ISP, check them out. But even if you don't, think many times before doing business with WebHost4Life - from being very happy with them I now have a bitter taste that will be very hard to forget.

Good site. No problems here and we have been with them for 5 years?

They either sold my Credit Card info or their database got hacked. I found a small charge made by a web-software company based in China that I'd never heard of. I figured out WebHost4Life was the origin of the info because of a typo in my WebHost4Life account's record that matched the information the unauthorized user also had.

Good price, reliable and safe.

I've used this host for multiple domains/sites for the past 3 years. I came across them through a recommendation from a developer on a blog. High level of reliability, low cost, 24/7 support. The key choice for me was the developer support. I don't support servers; they do that. I build websites. They help when something doesn't work. Also, I get 20% discount as a reseller. I can host up to 8 sites in 1 hosting account. I have tried 3 others in the past, including GoDaddy who I felt nickel-and-dimed with all the high pressure ads for add-on products and features.

I have used webhost4life.com for quite sometime and found that it is absolutely awesome.
